An extension on the Greyhound drink, popular in summer. Credit to Andrew Hildebrand, a bartender at the W hotel, San Diego.

Stir the vodka and grapefruit juice together in a highball glass. Float the Campari over a barspoon onto the top, and serve.

Inventor: Tom Elliott

Origin: Jose O'Reilly's Cantina - Rancho Penasquitos

Where it's Popular: Very few people know about the Freight Train, but many have been run over.

Inspirations: One of my favorite one liners of all time has always been, "Have you ever ran full speed into a freight train"? In good fun it was often a great way to get a first time customer to loosen up and have a drink.

Fill a 16 oz. Pint Glass w/ Cubed Ice

Pour 1 1/2 oz Absolute Citron

Pour 1/2 oz Triple Sec or Cointreau

Fill glass to 3/4 full w/ Sweet & Sour Mix

Add a Splash of Soda

Float 1/2 oz of Yukon Jack

You can serve as is or give it a hard shake, stick a straw in and drink responsibly. Freight Trains have been known to run the timid over.

Three friends invented the Beaubetween around a campfire in Northern Ontario. It was originally called "Cleavage" however took on its new name which is not so obvious (Beau means nice).

Pour the peppermint schnapps into a shot glass. Add the creme de cacao, then layer the tequila rose on top using the back of a spoon, and serve.

Like the Bloody Mary, everyone has their own way of making a Tom Collins, so make your best Tom Collins, except substitue Peach Schnapps for the gin. The amounts and method above make a fairly mild and sweet, but successfully balanced drink. Using a smaller highball glass will strengthen it.

This was invented by me, Tim Shriver, at the Phi Mu Alpha House at Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Illinois. It seems to be very popular among the few who get to try this drink. I named this drink after a friend of mine, Phil, who loves his Peach Schnapps.

Build this drink in order in an ice-filled collins glass. Stir the Peach Schnapps and lemon juice briefly in the serving glass. The 4 oz of club soda is an approximation. The size of the glass and ice cubes may change the exact proportions. It is intended that the remainder be filled. Sour Mix to taste is optional also. Garnish with a cherry and orange slice.

Although this polyjuice potion does NOT turn you into someone, it will make you think your some one else. Accio potion!

For this to look like the polyjuice potion in the Harry Potter book, you have to layer the whole concoction. First the kahlua to give the base, then the vodka (which ever you prefer), then so forth. To simulate that the potion is bubbling, add the splash of coke at the top.

A healthy smoothie recipe - choose fat free ingredients where possible. You can add protein whey and some flax seed for even more goodness!
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup plain yoghurt
1/2 frozen, peeled and chopped banana
1 tsp honey
1/2 cup strawberr

In a blender, blend the milk, yogurt, banana, honey, and strawberries until smooth.

Popular at Plimsoll Club in New Orleans. Created by head bartender Tommy Borne.

Shake ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into cocktail glass. Garnish with cherry speared to orange slice on glass rim.

Invented by John Juneau, making a contribution to re-build New Orleans.

Add ice to an old-fashioned glass and add all three ingredients. Swirl the glass to blend the colors. Prolonged sipping is suitable or drink it like a shot. Savor the flavor!

Did you have a grandmother who smoked heavily? Ever eaten the candy from her house? Enjoy this nostalgic drink over ice.

Mix equal parts over ice.

This drink will bring you not only a spiritual experience over night and dreaming (if you sleep), but it will bring you the best entertainment the next day.

History and Facts: Over time, natives and other people have found out that nutmeg contains a hallucinogenic property known as Myristica. Tribes used it as rituals to connect with spirits. During modern day parties, people have used nutmeg and vodka together, even consuming both at different times. You see, the effects of the nutmeg's "trip" or legal "high" takes place in up to 8 hours. During the time before "nutmeg trip" is a spiritual sense and perspective. Never use nutmeg in a spice form; not much will happen if you use nutmeg spice. Use the nutmeg nuts. Also, in order to bring out the hallucinogenic-trippy property,Myristica, you would need to consume nutmeg in large quantities, like 5 nuts or more.

Where to buy nutmeg nuts? You can find them at your local food store. Walmart carries around 9 nutmeg nuts in a small plastic-glass container in the spice section.

Have fun and be safe.

Handle the nutmeg nuts first. Take at least 4-5 nutmeg nuts and crush them up at much as possible. Some advice would be using a food processor or maybe smashing them up with something around the kitchen.

After the nutmegs are smashed up, put them in a blender (or whatever you prefer).

Then put 3 shots of vodka in there to take out the nutmeg's flavor. Any hard liquor does the trick. Blend or shake till all is mixed well.

Add in the ginger ale as much to your liking. Around 2 cups should do the trick, maybe even more.

Add a shot of Malibu to bring a tropical hint. Add a little bit of vanila extract (not important, but is suggested).

Stir and mix well, settle down with ice in an old-fashioned glass. If for some reason the nutmeg is still chunky, just consume it. It's fine.
"I got this idea after hearing the Chuck Norris joke, 'When Bruce Banner gets angry, he turns into the Incredible Hulk. When the Incredible Hulk gets angry, he turns into Chuck Norris.' So I thought, what better to add to an Incredible Hulk than Walker (Texas Ranger) Red Label (in honor of the beard) Whiskey."

Combine the Hpnotiq with the cognac in a highball glass over ice. Top with Johnnie Walker Red Label Scotch whisky. Take a deep breath, and prepare for a roundhouse kick to the mouth.

This drink was created and perfected by Andy O'Donnell and Ben Williams. It is very popular in Worcester, MA. Specifically, in Institute Park, where it was invented.
750 ml bottle of cheap rum
3 liter any flavor bottle of cheap soda

This is a very simple drink to make, and a very cheap drink to make. Pour out (drink) approximately 750ml of the cheap soda (usually orange or lemon-lime soda). Then pour the bottle of cheap rum into the soda bottle. Turn the bottle up and down a few times to mix, then open carefully so that it does not explode. Drink right out of the bottle with a friend. For best results, drink in a public park.

This variation of the classic Rum Runner was invented in Lebanon Pennsylvania and is classicly served on a Monday night.

Pour both rums and juice over ice and stir. Serve with pineapple wedge for garnish.

For a frozen variation blend all ingredients until smooth and serve in margarita glass.

The drink is named according to Finnish county "Tavastia" where grows lots of conifer forests. The green color of the drink harks back to these forests. Excellent drink on a hot summer day.

Fill the glass with ice cubes, pour sherry curacao into the glass. Pour orange juice to fill the glass and stir.

Simple but deadly, bites like a dog but leaves a sting like a viper. Invented by two Americans in a moment of desperation while visiting Iceland in Fall of 2004 and has since grown in popularity in parts of Iceland and South Carolina. To some, it's the only way to make Brenavin drinkable. A warning, though: the effects of the poisonous dog sneak up on you suddenly, more so than just about any other drink in my experience; you'll sip it for a little while and feel nothing, and then BAM.
1/2 pint Brennivin® schnapps (a kind of Icelandic schnapps)
1/2 pint Icelandic orange soda

Couldn't be simpler to make. Simply fill a beer mug halfway up with Brenavin and fill the other half up with Icelandic Orange Soda. Regular American OJ can be substituted if necessary.

This drink is from an Oakland University graduate student (Mark Katakowski), who in a dream was taught how to make it by the actress Christina Ricci.
1 glass Scotch whisky
1 tbsp black coffee

Pour the Scotch whisky into a whiskey sour glass filled with ice. Add the spoonful of coffee, and serve.

G4 Tech TV's Attack of the Show "The Lush" January 18, 2006 Drink of the Week

Named after "Blair Butler's Fresh Ink", a segment of AOTS that talks about comic books.

Created by Kat Hinzman.

Add a marachino cherry and some sugar along the rim and you're good to go.

This Ron Ponche is very traditional in the country of Panama. It is usually sipped during the christmas holidays and especially during Ano Nuevo, (the New Year). Merry christmas!!!
10 can evaporated milk
24 egg yolks
3 1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp nutmeg
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup water
2 - 3 cup Captain Morgan® spiced rum

Put first five ingredients in large pot (or double boiler perferred). Mix with mixer thoroughly in pot before heat. Cook on medium to low heat, stirring constantly.( this is the hard part, this cooking process takes about 45 to 1 hour.) This is a Panamian version of egg nog. Cook until it becomes thick. Be patient. It will thicken like gravy.

Remove from heat. Add the 1 cup of water and the rum, (this depends on how stout you like your "egg nog". Scoop the liquid into decorated mason jar. Very important... Make sure you strain the liquid BEFORE you put into the jars.

Refriderate and this makes a wonderful Ron Ponche for friends and family. Sip this Ron Ponche like you would any baileys or liqueur.

I had been thinking about making a drink using Steven Seagal's Lightning Bolt as a base, and after some brainstorming with some friends, I decided on the final mix above. There are two reasons so many liquors are used. First, a drink using something made by Steven Seagal must be as over-the-top as Seagal's action movies and must provide a sense of 'armageddon' that Seagal himself provides when he's beating up 15 bad guys at one time. Secondly, although I did have to cherry pick a little bit, every component of the drink corresponds to a letter in Seagal's last name.

S piced Rum
E verclear (151 if not available)
A bosolut Fruit Flavored Vodka
G in
A bsolut Fruit Flavored Vodka (hence twice as much as other liquors)
L ightning Bolt
1.5 oz spiced rum
3 oz Fruit-Flavored vodka
1.5 gin
1.5 oz Everclear® alcohol
4-6 oz Steven Seagal's Lightning Bolt

Pretty simple drink. You'll want a moderately sized glass, so get about an 8-12 inch glass, a Collins, Old-Fashioned, or any regular sized cup should do. Just pour all ingredients into the glass. This is going to be pretty strong, so if you want a weaker drink, just put in more of Seagal's Lightning Bolt energy drink, and less alcohol. I highly recommend using fruit flavored vodka to help mask the taste of Seagal's energy drinks which taste terrible.

The African Tinnie has unknown origins, but was first served to the contributor in a club in Auckland NZ just over 10 yrs ago. It has a taste like a cola popsicle/ice block.

Layer ingredients in order into a shot glass, and serve.
